What to Expect

How can physical therapy help me?
A physical therapist can evaluate your condition and identify the source of your discomfort or dysfunction. After the evaluation, the therapist will develop a plan of care to best treat your problem.

What do I need to do to get started?
South Dakota law does not require a prescription for a Doctor to be seen by a physical therapist. However, some insurance companies require that you have a prescription in order for the services to be covered. Check with your insurance company if you are unsure of your physical therapy coverage.

What will I do on my first visit?
Please plan on coming 10 minutes before the start of your appointment to fill out your new patient paperwork. You can fill out the paperwork ahead of time by clicking here - forms. Wear comfortable clothes, we have shorts available if they are needed. A typical initial evaluation takes approximately one hour.
